Specifically, it offers household, property, and specialty asset services. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Property Maintenance Worker to join our team and oversee the upkeep of our residential property. The ideal candidate will have experience in property maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, and animal care. This hands-on role requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, multitask efficiently, and take initiative in managing various aspects of the estate's operations. Qualifications • Extensive experience (5+ years) in property maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, or related fields, with a strong preference for experience working on large estates or residential properties. • Proven expertise in animal care, particularly with horses or livestock, including knowledge of feeding, grooming, and exercise routines. • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various mechanical equipment, such as tractors, lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other yard tools. • Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks including standing for extended periods, working in various weather conditions, and lifting up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. • Willingness and availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to meet the estate's demands. • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address issues proactively. • Exceptional physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous manual labor tasks for extended periods. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Knowledge of relevant safety protocols, regulations, and best practices in property maintenance and animal care.

Biddick, Inc. is an agricultural enterprise producing seed and cattle since 1906. Trelay Land & Cattle Co. (TLC) is a concept that pays tribute to a family history, a love of land & cattle and the individuals in eight generations that adapted over and over to make it all happen. In our pastures, we raise registered Angus cattle. In our feedlots, we feed out steers and heifers from a variety of local sources. Our cattle are fed TMR rations, are tagged with the USDA electronic ear tags and are monitored in our custom database. Yet, our people watch the health and monitor the feed bunks, while handling the animals with a sense of caring. Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to: Use of AI breeding and bull selection Record keeping maintenance Cow/calf purebred beef procedures Feeding - Determining feed rations & process of feeding cattle Vaccinations and processing - reasoning, selection & timing of vaccinations Valid current state driver's license and clean driving record Ability to safely operate farm equipment (tractor, skid steer, feed wagon, manure spreader, etc.) Strong attention to detail able to learn and follow safe working practices in all aspects of cattle & farm production. Looking for experienced applicator to run sprayer and spreader. Job would be spraying corn and soybeans on our grain farm in north east Illinois. Would need to be self motivated willing to maintain (daily maintenance) and wash machine. In the fall it would be running a floater spreading fertilizer. Would like to have a guy with cdl or willing to get one.
