E & H Farms, Inc., located in rural Weskan, Kansas, is seeking an experienced, determined, and high-performing Full-Time Operations Manager to join our team. Our 15,000-acre third generation row-crop operation focusing on wheat, milo, corn, and pinto beans is looking for a candidate who is excited to join our farming team - willing to do tasks both big and small, creating value and improving performance of the operation. The Operations Manager is a valuable member of E & H Farms, Inc. and this role will have direct interaction and work alongside owners and family members. The Operations Manager will oversee all operations staff, equipment, planting-to-harvest duties, and other inputs of the farming operation. Weskan, Kansas is a very rural location in West Kansas, near the Colorado border. It is a nice quiet location to raise a family, with a wonderful small school system. The nearest town with groceries, movie theaters, etc. is a short 15-20 minute country drive. What you will do: · Providing day-to-day operations management of the farm and assisting in long-range crop planning in conjunction with farm owner. · Implementing safety policies and practices according to company standards. · Maintaining proper personnel, including hiring, training, and day-to-day management of staff. · Coordinating, planning, communicating and problem-solving regarding Grain Storage, Facilities and Equipment, Transportation, Input Purchasing, Production Technology and Crop Sales. · Taking the lead with all field workers during planting, tillage, spraying and harvesting. Qualifications: · 5+ years of Farm Management experience required with minimum of bachelor’s degree in agricultural field of study preferred or significant experience as a Farm Manager. · Ability to manage farm operation day-to-day activity and decision-making abilities. · Experience with wheat, soybeans, corn, and pinto beans is a plus!

Farm hand will do a variety of tasks. This is mostly a dryland farm but does have some irrigation. Currently we have 200 acres under pivot, 75 acres under wheel and traveling gun, and about 25 acres of handline. This will have someone operating tractors ranging from 100hp to 600hp. You will be asked to spray chemicals from a backpack all the way up to a 100' self propelled sprayer. Employee will eventually need to be able to drive a 10spd and 13spd semi trucks. Operating a combine. This land has some very steep hills. Employee will spend the winters in the shop overhauling equipment. Mechanics skills are a plus. Must have a valid drivers license. Must be able to work long flexible hours in the spring summer and fall. Wage will depend on experience. Health benefits can be worked out. Vehicle to drive home after a probationary period.
Herrmann Land and Cattle is looking for a Farm Equipment Operator. The Farm Equipment Operator is a full-time benefited position and will assist in raising of corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa. This role has the responsibility, with a team, to operate various pieces of farm equipment including but not limited to seeding equipment, spreader, swather, tillage equipment, and semi. The person will need to to be knowledgeable in and be able to utilize various types of AG related technology. Various other job duties may be assigned and asked to be completed. A valid CDL license with a clean driving record is preferred but previous experience operating semi trucks may be acceptable with the right candidate. Some farm experience especially with large machinery like tractors, planters, sprayers, grain carts, combines, etc. and mechanical skills is also preferred. Like working with people that love farming and being outside.
